Ceremonial Kiva at Nambe Pueblo

On invitation from the tribal Governor and cultural leadership, we conducted an assessment of the historic adobe structure and earthen roof system (pro bono) and are providing recommendations and associated design documentation for the stabilization of the round ceremonial structure which was constructed in the early 14th Century (HABS 1934 Report). This project represents the first component of a more comprehensive historic preservation initiative to rehabilitate both ceremonial and residential structures located within the historic Pueblo.
