While completing interior renovations to The Exchange and Stiha Meeting Rooms, BFA+D was also completing Design Development on the most significant component of La Fonda's comprehensive hotel rehabilitation - the renovation of 164 Guestrooms, Corridors, and exterior modifications. No different a process from that of La Plazuela and the meeting rooms renovation, much time and care was taken to research the architectural and interior design history associated with the 5-story, historic hotel. The new guestrooms will meet current buildng code and showcase many elements of the original interior design while also featuring added details and furnishings inspired by New Mexican arts and craftsmanship.
